Oh my gosh you guys, if I didn't have a paper due the next two Tuesdays I would totally make a cake tonight. With pink frosting. I would be so good.

But alas! I chose to slack off and do the minimum amount of work for the last three days and now it's catching up to me. Oh no, four days. And this morning.

When I say that I'm in the mood for Chinese food, what I typically mean is: I want veggie spring rolls. They serve them at every Chinese-American restaurant I've encountered. I just gave a certain Sonny and Slinky their baths. Given his shenanigans yesterday, and the sign that he would be up to them today, I gave Sonny his bath. He hasn't had one in months. I had noticed the skin around his mouth is starting to peel. Maybe he was crazy active yesterday then soothed by the water because his skin was tight and itchy. Who ( Read more... )

I got up at 6:00 this morning to study for my 2:30 Praxis exam. (The Praxis is the standardized test you have to take to qualify as a teacher) Mom incorrectly assumed that I was up that early only to study. Actually, I'm trying to reset my circadian rhythm. I want to be a morning person! I need to be a morning person!

Since I went to Basic I can't upload photos anymore, so here's some photos I've taken lately but haven't had a chance to post anywhere.

Parents. Parents be in my bedroom sometimes. They just use my bedroom, like they own the place or something (they do). So I was passed out from a night of swing dancing/being awake for 24 hours solid, and then I woke up at 11:30 and was out the door by 12:20. I worked, came home at 5:00, and went to my room to plug in my phone.
